We started the summer of 2007 with a piece of plywood mounted to the side of a garage a video projector and computer speakers. Later that summer we upgraded to a king size sheet.

 

The summer of 2008 we invested in a huge inflatable movie screen, a new projector, 2 massive 1200 watt speakers, a mixer and 1200 watt amplifier.

 

The spring of 2009 we installed 2-25’ telephone poles and hung a 16’ x 9’ screen on them to make our drive in. We invested in 2 more projectors and an FM transmitter.

 

We now have a full fledged drive-in, just like the good old days.

 

We are open Friday and Saturday nights.

We show older “Classic Movies”, mostly from the 1930’s to 1960’s.

There is no charge for admission, all we ask is you come into our store and buy some snacks, ice cream, food and drinks to help support us.

 

Because we are weather dependent the “sit outside” theater may not be open during inclement weather. The drive-in on the other hand will be open during inclement weather barring any thunderstorms.

 

The “sit outside” theater can accommodate up to a hundred or more people

and the drive-in can hold about 70 cars.

We will answer the phone until 8pm if the show is cancelled and till 9pm if the movie will be shown. On those nights when no one shows up we will start to tear down our equipment 1/2 hour after the show starts.

 

 

Parties, Social Events, Fundraisers

Our theater makes a great venue for birthday parties, church socials, business meetings, anniversary parties, fundraisers or most any occasion.

 

The theater is available any day or night of the week (closed Monday’s).

Our prices are very reasonable. If you do not want to buy food from us and help to support us you can purchase a one time food permit for $3.00 per person and bring your own food. The permits are only good for the night you are here. If you are caught you will be asked to purchase the permit or leave. We are a family friendly theater. Children must be with an adult at all times. No alcohol is permitted on our property. There is no smoking in the “Sit Outside” area. You may smoke in your car as long as it does not bother others. We are surrounded by neighboring properties, please respect their privacy and stay off their property, no loud talking or screaming. No fireworks of any kind are permitted, no laser pointers are permitted. The portable restroom is provided by Ken Wertz of Hollidaysburg, please keep it neat and clean for the next person. If you are in the drive-in area and want food please drive your car to the store for the purchase. It is very dark in that area. You may bring a flashlight if you want to walk to our store, be careful and watch your step. We are not responsible for accidents. The theater areas and store is private property, please respect our property and do not litter. There is no over night parking. We reserve the right to add to this list at any time without notice to our patrons. We reserve the right to inspect any vehicle for food that may be brought in. we reserve the right to ask anyone to leave for not following our policies. If you are asked to leave and do not you will be consider a trespasser. The store door is locked during the movies, if you need any food or drinks please ask me.
